EVER BETTER LIFE PRINCIPLES

Melissa and I are super excited to announce the release of our brand new, 77 week super-course called Ever Better Life Principles.
A couple of years ago, we created a special membership program for those who had already taken the Ever Better Life Course and graduated from our one-on-one coaching programs.
The goal was to build upon the foundation laid by the Ever Better Life Course…
And to take a deeper dive into some of the profoundly powerful principles that have shaped both our work helping others as well as our own lives.
These are things that, although were important in the creation of our previous programs, didn’t necessarily fit into them…
But that we have used to great effect in our own lives and that we wanted to present to students so that they can enrich their lives in the ways that they have enriched ours.
These are basically “thought technologies”…
Ways of infusing powerfully positive and deliberately creative new ways of thinking into your daily life that will allow you to take conscious control of it rather than merely operating on “autopilot” and just settling for whatever you have been getting up to this point.
Ever Better Life Principles is presented in an online class/group coaching format…
Most lessons are based around a set curriculum, but there are also many instances in which we answer participant’s questions, help them solve problems that they’re dealing with, and find ways to practically apply the material covered to the reality of their present goals and life situations.
In order to help make each lesson as practical as possible, most include an Awareness Exercise designed to help you practically implement the key principles covered by weaving it seamlessly into the everyday reality of your life.
These exercises help to make it so that your personal improvement can be “automated”, at least in part, which means that, if you set aside the time required to go through each lesson and then use the Awareness Exercises associated with it…
You can sit back, relax, and just kind of allow the positive changes to start happening all by themselves.
Most lessons also include a note pack in which the key points are summarized and which, in many cases, provide a great deal of additional and very valuable information about the principles covered, how they work, and how you can use them to create the kinds of experiences and results you want in life.

Ever Better Life Principles was originally designed for anyone who has taken the Ever Better Life Course and/or who has worked with us in either a group or one-on-one capacity.
We created with those who are familiar with our style and teachings in mind…
Those who have mastered (or at least had some experience with) the basic aspects of mind mastery that we cover in our other courses.
Although anyone can enroll in and benefit from EBLP…
For most people, it’s best for those who have already enrolled in Awareness School, taken the Ever Better Life Course, done at least some one-on-one work with us or, at the very minimum, have participated in at least one of our Awareness Challenges.
This program is very much about “our approach” to doing this thing called “Improving What It’s Like To Be You”…
If you’re familiar with us and like how we do things and are interested in a treasure-trove of mind-expanding, experience-optimizing, personal freedom-enhancing principles, ideas, and techniques to create more of what you want in the areas of life that are important to you…
Then Ever Better Life Principles is definitely for you.
Here is an overview of what’s included:

Part 1: Awareness Basics:
In Part 1, we lay the foundation for creating conscious and intentional positive change by providing you with a series of exercises to develop awareness of the most important aspects of your creative process.
For most people, the things that go on in these various aspects of their mind are “just happening”…
And, as a result, they often find themselves stuck with and suffering over the consequences of unconscious internal activity that is not serving them.
In addition to covering the core Awareness Principles, we also address the following success factors:
- How to effectively deal with aspects of your internal experience and your external reality that seem “unchangeable.”
- How to use what you can change to change what you can’t.
- “Emotional static”, how it creates problems, and how you can clear it.
- How to feel better about, respond resourcefully to, and banish “bad behaviors.”
- Why beating yourself up for what you consider to be “bad behavior” is actually causing you to engage in more of it.
- Beliefs and the incredibly powerful role they play in shaping both your internal experience and your external reality.
- Why developing the flexibility required to believe what will best serve you can literally change your life…and how you can do it.
- Why Self-Deception is one of the chief obstacles to creating lasting positive change…and how you can free yourself from it.
- Complaining: why it’s so toxic, how you can break the habit, and what to replace it with.
- Breaking out of the “I’ll be happy when…” pattern so that you can be happy now while simultaneously creating things to be happy about.
- How self-criticism and constant judgment are locking you in to patterns that you don’t like…and how letting go opens up the floodgates of positive change.
- What to do when it feels like bad feelings are “just happening.”
- How “tinkering” what your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors can create more positive change than trying to force it.
- Once you do this, you literally won’t be able to continue doing anything that doesn’t serve you.
- How to escape the personal hell of “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” rackets.
- People-pleasing and how to give it up.
- “Pre-Positive thinking” and why it is the often overlooked prerequisite for effectively optimizing your mental activity.
- How mastering the “fruit vs. root” distinction frees your mind to stop resisting what you don’t want…so that you can focus on creating what you do.
- Becoming someone who simply doesn’t have time for anything that isn’t important to them.
- The relationship between values and beliefs…and how these two (often unconscious) forces shape your life.
- Why training your mind is a lot like raising a puppy…and what this comparison tells us about how to succeed.
- What it means to be “wise as serpent”, why this is essential to effective, positive personal change, and how you can do it.
- A special “cheat code” that will allow you to take conscious control of the meanings you give to what happens in your life.
- “Stretch beliefs”…and how you can use them to become who you want to be.
- How developing the ability to “just make things up” is a secret superpower of those who consciously create the life they want…and how you can learn to do this, too.
- Hopelessness vs. Helplessness…and how to avoid (or escape) both.
- How mastering your beliefs in these three areas can unlock your internal resources and unleash your creative potential.
- Escaping the influence of other people’s expectations…and accepting the responsibility of building a new set of guiding principles for your life.
- How to overcome the fear and insecurity that sometimes arises when you start living life on your own terms.
- How thinking of your mind as a piece of property can help you take control over your experience and your life.
- Why complaining is like adding fuel to a fire you’re trying to put out…and how you can grow out of the habit of complaining by growing into bigger, better ones.
- “”What Would It Take For Me To Not Give A Fuck About This?”
- Why justifiable complaining is the worst, most costly kind.
- “Engineering Inclination”: How to make it feel good to do things that will feel good to have done.
- “Skywriting your thoughts”
- How wanting someone else to fix you is keeping you broken.

Part 2: Neville Goddard:

- What real forgiveness is…and how to do it.
- How you can learn to decline invitations to think, feel, and do what doesn’t serve you.

- “Getting into character”; rehearsing for the role you want to play in life in your imagination.
- How doubling your practice and halving your effort will lead to greater results in less time.
- The “state akin to sleep” and how you can use it to shift states, master your mood, and create the life you want.
- Why sacrifices the false idol of doubt is a prerequisite for receiving what you want to receive and becoming what you want to be.
- Habit: the greatest enemy hiding within your own mental houseful (and how to defeat it.)
- How detachment and non-reaction are the keys to overcoming any obstacle.
- Mastering the art and act of forgiveness…and why forgiveness means freedom.
- Non-forgiveness as a drain on your power…and how to plug it.
- Elevating to a higher state of consciousness vs. resisting the state you’re currently in.

- Why embracing 100% responsibility for your experience is the key to making that experience as good as it can be.

This series of lessons is derived from our time studying Richard Bandler, the great magician of personal change who cofounded the field of NLP.
I had already spent quite a lot of time on various personal growth strategies before encountering Richard’s work…
And then I read several of his books before I heard directly from the man himself.
I’ll never forget the feeling of hearing Richard speak for the first time…
It was like my unconscious mind was absorbing all of these patterns of flexibility and resourceless underlying the things he said and the stories he told…
And like I was hearing for the first time ever someone who really knew how to think about and interact with reality in ways that could persuade it to unlock all of the positive possibilities with which it was filled.
Richard showed me how to start using my mind on purpose…
And how I could show other people how to do it, too.
In these lessons we talk about Richard’s list of the 6 Main Problems that people have…
And also offer practical strategies for implementing life-changing best practices in these areas.
In these lessons you’ll learn as much about the experiences we have had as we have implemented and taught and applied these principles as you will about the principles themselves…
And we hope that hearing about what’s possible and learning from our experiences (and, in some cases, our mistakes) will help make your journey smoother, more enjoyable, and more fulfilling.
