Mental Discipline - Making Money - Inner Peace

And maintaining unshakable, unconditional peace in your soul (and, if that’s not enough, in your relationships with others, too.)
So what does mental discipline mean, anyway?
It means that, when you wake up in the morning, your mind is clear, rested, and at your service…
Instead of foggy, worn out, swirling with negativity, and the first and biggest problem you encounter in your day.
Mental discipline means that your mind is a practical personal assistant rather than a spiteful personal saboteur.
It means that your mind works around the clock to help you find and enjoy life’s inner and outer treasures instead of filling your head and your heart and your physical environment with useless, burdensome, costly trash.
Creative money making flows naturally from the disciplined mind.
For most people, money is like sex:
…(Oh, maybe that’s what I should have started the message with!)…
Their mind is so stuffed full of trash and nonsense
…(stories and meanings and memories/emotional memorabilia, etc.)…
On the subject that they rarely (if ever) get a chance to interact with the practical reality of the thing itself.
If you use the subject of money to worry…
To be sad…
To feel guilty or inadequate…
To blame…
To regret...
To be ashamed…
To be disappointed…
And any number of the other little symbology-based psychic soap operas that people squander the precious moments of their daily lives watching (and living) over and over and over again…
You never get a chance to get around to using the actual reality of money for what it’s really for:
Acquiring things of practical value that allow you to enjoy life more.
Okay, great…
But what about peace in your soul?
Mindset is one thing…
Money making is at least conceivable…
But deep, abiding peace?
Surely that isn’t possible and, if it is, it certainly can’t be simple, straightforward, and readily attainable to just anyone, right?
Well, without giving too much away, I’ll just say this:
Once the absence (or the opposite) of spiritual peace no longer serves to sustain your Sense of Self…
Peace itself is not only attainable, it is inevitable and even automatic.
Your False Self feeds on the absence of spiritual peace…
The less at peace you are, the more real your False Self feels.
Conflict and disharmony makes that which is unreal seem more real…
Which is why that which is unreal craves, feeds upon, and perpetuates these things in our lives.
To the extent that we are inwardly identified with our False Self, we will tend to attract and be attracted to, seek out, create, perpetuate, and exacerbate that which feeds this False Self.
When you go looking for inner peace, the biggest mistake you can make is to take your False Self with you.
And, if ever you go anywhere looking for peace, you can be sure that your False Self is with you because, it it weren’t, you would find peace exactly where you are.
Whew…
That’s a little heavy.
Remember: Sex and money!
